Here we have the beautiful bathroom. When we first started work on the house we had to wear protective masks to protect us from the toxins that we KNEW were in the house haha and the TERRIBLE smell! The after picture isn't the best, but I'll get more on here when I go get pictures.

This is the beautiful kitchen area. Please notice the beautiful wall paper, unmatching cabinets, no counter tops, and the weird glass brick wall. Just beautiful wasn't it! Now it is transformed into a beautiful room. One of the best in the house. Notice the new tile work. Jace taught me how to do it so that is my work. . . ok some of it is his. . . but a lot is mine. It was very fun!

Ahhh yes. Here we had the main living area. This isn't even the very first look at what it looked like. There was actually a mirror that the lady had covering the fireplace that had a picture of Bambi on it. It was AWESOME! The walls were made out of weird pannel. Two layers actually. . . I guess she got sick of the ugly dark brown so she put up an ugly light brown. haha And if you'll look at the ceiling you will see that there isn't one. But with new drywall, some paint
carpet, new light fixtures and tiling around the fire place it became a really nice room.

This is the living room as well. Just a different angle.

This was the master bedroom. PINK EVERYWHERE! And there were two layers of old carpet. They were so old they became brittle and would snap if you tried to roll them up. NASTY! We also found out she had had cats so the carpet smelled of cat urine. Contributing to the already great smell. But new paint and new windows and base boards help change it a lot.

This was the back yard. Doesn't look like a whole lot of difference, but the ground had millions of rocks under the dirt which the lady then put concrete on top of. So it was a weird patio thing. . . not really sure what the thought was behind that one. haha Also that white thing that you see that wasnt touched went into the crawl space from hell-o. We swear that is where she hid her dead bodies. . . funny story actually. One day while Jace's Dad and Step Mom were working a scary big guy just opened the door. Come to find out it was the old lady's son and he wanted to see the progress. After they showed him around he asked if they found any bones yet . . . (ya scary. . . who says that) Corrinne and Kevin looked at eachother horror struck and asked him what he meant. He said that she had had a ton of cats and that they had also burried their dead dog right under the kitchen window. Which is the far right window in these pictures. And as a matter of fact we had found some bones. When we were painting the outside of the house it smelled so bad in the back. Jace lifted up a board on the white thing and under it was a dead cat. It didn't look right though. it was like petrified. It almost looked like a yellow skinny statue. It was so gross! Anyway those are the stories of the backyard. Who knows what else is back there.

And here is the front yard. The last stop on our tour. Wasn't it lovely!? It also had vines all over it that Jace had ripped down before I got the pictures. But we re-painted it. Ripped out some bushes, leveled the ground and put new sod down. Made a world of difference!

The End!
