In 3 days my little Daya will be 3 months old! I can't believe it! She's talking so much with her "ooos" and her smiles just melt my heart every day!

She looks like she just did something and is trying to act innocent!

Half smile.

I love her smile!

Silly Kitties

Jace and I got up to go to bed after watching TV and we found our cats on the top of their cat tower cuddling. But earlier they were fighting over it so they finally got tired and were both too stubborn to give it up so they laid like this. I just don't get how Cougar got like that! But it was so funny!

Just look at how he is laying. haha I love it!

He looks like a total fatty!

Our Smiley Girl!

Daya loves to smile and talk all day! She is the best baby and so happy all of the time! She brings so much happiness to our lives!

Here is an adorable video of her smiling and talking!

Blessing

The day after Halloween we had Daya blessed. Little did we know at the time she had Swine Flu. I hadn't known at the time that they hadn't gotten the results back on that particular test, so I had just thought it was a virus because that is what the Dr. told us. We didn't find out until the next morning that it was Swine Flu. But I know we were meant to give her that blessing that day! It was a beautiful blessing and Heavenly Father blessed her that she would get better and many more wonderful things! I'm so grateful for the gospel and especially the power of prayer and the power of the priesthood. Its incredible! Truly of God! I know that Heavenly Father has blessed our family through this experience. Even though it was awful my faith and my testimony of prayer and the power of the priesthood have grown immensely! I'm so grateful for my beautiful daughter and I thank God every day for watching over her and protecting her! She is the most important thing in the world to me and I've never loved anything more!

CrApPy HaLlOwEeN!

So Jace and I had a pretty crappy Halloween! It was okay for most of the day but Daya wasn't feeling well and started getting a cough. Then that night she got a fever of 100.7 and we had to take her to the ER at 2 am. When we got there they said her fever was back down to 99.6 so that was good, but we knew something was wrong. They then proceeded to poke and prod her with every test and every needle! It was the saddest thing ever! You can see in the picture where they have an IV in her little hand. They had to try and draw her blood but her veins are still too small so they just ended up putting 5 holes in both her little hands! It was the worst thing in the world to watch! They did so many other awful tests as well. But I was so proud of her. When they did the first needle to draw blood she didn't even squirm or cry. There were 3 nurses in there to hold her down but they didn't need to. They couldn't believe it. Frankly neither could I! She is such an amazing baby and was so strong! Needless to say it was a very long night. All the test results came back fine except for the H1N1 and Flu tests, which take 24 hours. So we went home and just hoped for the best. But then on Monday morning I got a call from the ER doctor who told me that my sweet baby girl tested positive for Swine Flu and regular Flu! I felt sick to my stomache! I felt like the worst Mother in the world. She is just barely 2 months old. Luckily we had a Dr. appointment already scheduled for that day. So we went and saw him and by that time she was already feeling a lot better and her fever was long gone. He just put her on the antibiotic Tamiflu and said she would be just fine! She is doing so much better now. I'm so grateful to Heavenly Father for watching over her and for all the answered prayers! Definitely something I never want to experience again, but I'm afraid it just comes with being a parent, and from what I hear it doesn't get any easier as they get older. Joy. So that was our eventful Halloween. One that I never want to experience again.

Little Kitten

My Mom has called Daya her "Little Kitten" from the day she was born. She thinks that her cry sounds like a little kitten cry. . . hence the nickname. So It was only fitting that she be an adorable kitten for Halloween!

She loves her Daddy!

This is so her personality! Just an absolute goof ball. Always making faces! She is so funny, that's why I just love this picture!
