October Festivities!

October has been busy and fun! We've been lucky to do so many fun things! ***Beware lots of pictures!***

Here is a picture I took of Daya when we went to Gardner Village. I edited it and I just love it of her!

While there we went in the petting zoo. Daya liked it but wasn't to fond of this fella, Mr. Bill Goat! haha

Daya had fun with Aunt Jessie!

Grandma Lisa bought her a ride on the ponnies. She wanted nothing to do with it at first as you can see. BUT THEN. . .

She looked over and saw a little girl that was probably 4 or 5 who was sitting on her horse proud and excited and Daya decided it wasn't so bad and wanted to do the same! She loved it after that!

Jess and I on the truck ride to see some of the witches!

Grandma Lisa and Daya! She loves her Grandma and always has so much fun with her!

The weekend before Halloween I took Brad, Amanda, and Daya to Thanksgiving Point to do the Cornbelly's Corn Maze but it was POURING rain. We were so bummed so we went to the dinosaur museum instead. That was still fun! :)

Brad and Amanda were being SOOOOOO funny! I just love my little bro and sis! They saw a purple dinosaur on their cup and it had saggy boobs and they thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen! It was pretty weird that they would put that on a childrens cup. haha I laughed!

Me and my sweet little Daya that loved ever second of running around seeing all the cool stuff. She's so independent so she thoroughly enjoyed that!

Mandy scared of the triceratop!

Brad attacking the mamoth!

After the museum we were going to buy pumpkins there but they were 10 bucks for small pumpkins! It was a JOKE! So we got pumpkins at Smiths instead where we got 5 HUGE pumpkins for $8! Then we went home and carved them! Daya loved it! She loved the ewwy gooyness and got it EVERYWHERE~

This was Daya's cute jack-o-lantern!

Thursday we went to Amanda's class Halloween party! It was very fun to dress up and let Daya parade with the kids! She was the cutest witch!

Mandy was a fairy so I did her make up. I recently started doing face painting. (I'll do a post to explain later) But I did her make up,Brad's, Daya's and my own.

Halloween night was a blast! We visited Jace's family and found out that his brother Jeremy and his wife Nan are going to have a baby! YAY more cousins for Daya! We are so excited for them! Then we went to my Mom's to trick-or-treat with the kids and cousin Bryatt! Daya and I were witches and Jace was a wizard!

This is the face painting I did for my witch costume.

Here is our cute little witch! She loved getting all the candy!

Bryatt was a monkey! They were cute running around together!

Our "magical" family! :)

Daya is just like her Daddy, she loves chocolate!

Hope everyone had a safe, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Now onto the holiday season. :S

Gramzy Grew, I Will Miss You!

(This picture is the last time I saw my Gramz. She was being so goofy and cute! I love that I have this picture! Isn't she just beautiful and wonderful!? Ugh, I'm going to miss her!)

My Grandma passed away September 26th. She was 88 and lived a good long life! I know she is in a better place but I really really miss her. She died of a heart attack. But I think it was her time to go. I'm very grateful she didn't have to suffer and that she was taken quickly. She was an AMAZING woman. I'm so blessed just to have known her, and even more blessed that she was my Grandma. I have so many great memories of my Grandma that I will cherish forever! I love and miss her very much, but I know she is happy and that I will see her again one day!
She had so many people at her funeral. She was so loved and meant to much to so many!
Her beautiful casket! Its just perfect for her! White like an angel and pink! All her 11 children put their handprints in pink and blue on it as well. I thought that was so neat because family meant everything to her! I know she loved that!
My last goodbye (for now) to my Gramzy Grew! I love her so much and I know God is with her until we meet again!

Love Being A Mom!

Last month I had pretty much the worst day of my life haha. I was so stressed, tired, and fed up! So of course Daya wouldn't take a nap that day and she was sooooo tired and grumpy (+ teething), so I had to change her and put her back down for her nap but when I went to grab a diaper they were all gone and there are none in her diaper bag . . . lovely. The new box I bought I accidently left in the car. So I put Daya in her crib naked and run as fast as I can to get the diapers. When I come back I found this little gem waiting for me. This wasn't even the worst. She got poop EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!! All over her, all over her bed, and by the end of it all over me. But by this point I just had to laugh! It was either break down in tears or laugh and how crappy that day was, and it really was so comical I had to take a picture! But after I got everything cleaned up and put day down she gave me one of her smiles that just melts my heart and just made everything seem okay! I love being a Mom . . . even on days like these! :)

Filming Fun!

For those of you that don't know, I LOVE making movies! I love film! Everything about it! I especially love making films with my girl Kel! aka Boobra haha. . . but that's another story. I have been so lucky to be a part of the Utah film industry. Hopefully one day I'll make it to Hollywood! :) Anyway here are some projects that I've been working on lately.

*Prepare yourself. . . I do not look like me!*
A couple film friends are putting together a "Utah Haunt Tour". They are going around to different haunted houses and doing interviews, filming some rooms, filming the actors, etc. They want to give people a feel of what to expect at each one. So they asked me to be their host. I've never done anything like this. It was a lot like news broadcasting, but I had a blast!

This one was at the Castle of Chaos! They have an incredible make up artist on staff named Chris Hanson! He is so amazing. He has worked in the film world doing make-up for a long time! If any of you have heard of "Hell Boy" he did the main character "Red" He is so talented and what was even more cool was he grew up in Murray as well! He went to Murray High! I thought that was pretty cool. ANYWAY. . . so he asked if I wanted to be turned into a vampire and I said "UH YES PLEASE!" So here are the pics. . .

This is the finished product!

The AMAZING Chris Hanson working his magic. (I look so lame on the phone haha oh well Jace was lost. *He got to come with me!*)

Yup its really me! Isn't that soooooo cool? Who thought you could do that with an airbrush and makeup?

My little sister said I looked like I was 40 haha. After filming we went to a party where I scared the crap out of Jace's friends and then went to my Mom's and my little sister was watching TV on the couch and I went in and scared her. It was hillarious! Her eyes about popped out of her head and she ducked under her covers. haha

"I vant to suck your blood!" :)

So recently my first feature film came out called "American Rejects". These are pictures from the premiere! It was a blast! Pretty good movie too. I worked with so many amazing people! I feel so blessed to have been a part of something so great!

Me with the movie poster. . . my face is on a movie poster *sigh* dream come true!

My family all came out to support me! Austin

Ash and Bryatt

Papa Juan and Mama Lisa

Little bro Brad and little sis Amanda

And of course my amazing, wonderful, beautiful Mommy! She bought me a new dress for my first premiere and made that day soooooo special! I love my Mom!

This is Greg the sound guy! He is AMAZINGLY TALENTED!

And our fearless leader Brandon. He was the writer/director. He is so gifted. I seriously will see him making million dollar movies one day. He was so much fun to work with. I loved his vision and just think the world of him!

This was my co-star Rodney Carlson! He is a great actor and did an incredible job and bringing his character to life!

And last the best of all the game. . . Jace! He has been so supportive and absolutely wonderful through out everything! He is always pushing me to never give up! He is my rock and without him none of this would have been possible! I am so blessed to have such an understanding and supportive husband who I love so much! I don't know what I would do without him!

Many people keep asking where they can see the film and all I know is that they are sending it to a bunch of film festivals and then depending on what happens there it will come out on DVD probably some time next year! I'll keep ya posted!
